Cassine peragua (also known as Cape Saffron, Bastard Saffron and Forest Spoonwood) is a medium-sized tree with fragrant flowers, decorative fruits and a saffron-coloured trunk. It is indigenous to the Afro-montane forests of South Africa.[1]
